About Disability:IN Massachusetts

Disability:IN Massachusetts is a conduit for employers from diverse industry sectors to connect and share knowledge, information, and best practices to strengthen disability diversity confidence and increase disability employment success.
Members of Disability:IN Massachusetts are both private and public sector employers that are committed to inclusion and diversity and specifically interested in building their capacity to:

  • Attract, recruit, and retain employees with disabilities
  • Market to and service customers with disabilities
  • Include disability-owned businesses in their supply chains

Disability:IN Massachusetts is guided by a Business Advisory Council (BAC), which advises on vision, activities and goals. The BAC is made up of Disability:IN Massachusetts members and other strategic allies, that strengthens leadership relationships and collectively moves the dial on cutting edge disability leading activities and ideas.

Disability Diversity

Disability is a layer of diversity that challenges most diversity leaders, even those who are recognized amongst diversity circles.

Disability can often present complexities to all stakeholders –individuals with disabilities, provider organizations supporting the disability community, as well as employers.

Disability:IN Massachusetts is working together to foster a belief that knowledge is power and open, honest collegial exchange can make a positive impact on employment for people with disabilities.
