Vision Statement
The Metro West Collaborative will increase the number of competitive employment opportunities available to job seekers with disabilities. This will be accomplished by a fundamental change in delivery of placement services in partnership with all stakeholders, the development of both a soft skills training curriculum and hard skills training in healthcare sector occupations, increased coordination of job development efforts, and recommendations for changes in placement policies and practices. This mission will be carried out in a spirit of inclusion of all stakeholders in the achievement of its objectives.
Mission Statement
The Metro West Collaborative seeks to end the disparities in access to competitive employment for all individuals with disabilities in the MW Region by promoting system change. By forging collaboration with the business community, consumers, human service organizations, and state agencies, the Collaborative will create an environment where these stakeholders can collaborate to achieve mutually beneficial partnerships and productive employment outcomes.
