History of Disability:IN Massachusetts and Founding Corporate Sponsors

Originally established in 2010 as the Work Without Limits B2B Network, and recently changed from the Massachusetts Business Leadership Network (MABLN), Disability:IN Massachusetts evolved from a handful of leading employers looking for a peer-to-peer network in which they could, as a business community, positively impact the employment of people with disabilities.

In 2012 and under advisement from the B2B Network members, Work Without Limits introduced its Corporate Sponsorship program as a way to sustain the business network beyond initial federal grant funding. Twelve companies that represent a diverse mix of industries within the Commonwealth quickly joined to become the B2B Network’s Founding Corporate Sponsors.

Each of these organizations share the commitment and dedication to employ people with disabilities within each of their organizations. In 2016, the Work Without Limits B2B Network was approved as the Massachusetts affiliate of the Disability:IN and became Disability:IN Massachusetts.

In 2018, the USBLN rebranded as Disability:IN with the MABLN rebranding as Disability:IN Massachusetts.

Work Without Limits B2B Network Founding Sponsors include Blue Cross Blue Shield of Massachusetts, Clarks Companies, N.A., Eastern Bank, Fidelity Investments, Harvard Pilgrim Health Care, John Hancock, MIT Sloan Executive Education, National Grid, Professional Staffing Group, State Street, The TJX Companies, Inc. and the University of Massachusetts Medical School.
