Who is Work Without Limits?

Work Without Limits is a statewide network of engaged employers and innovative, collaborative partners that aims to increase employment among individuals with disabilities. Our goal is to position Massachusetts as the first state in the nation where the employment rate of people with disabilities is equal to that of the general population.

Our funding

Work Without Limits was developed with support from the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services through the Massachusetts Medicaid Infrastructure and Comprehensive Employment Opportunities (MI-CEO) grant awarded to the UMass Medical School (CFDA No. 93.768).

Work Without Limits is managed by the Disability, Health and Employment Policy (DHEP) unit at the University of Massachusetts Medical School. DHEP focuses on four core areas:
1) promoting the employment, health and well-being of people with disabilities
2) providing direct employment-related support services to people with disabilities
3) providing training and technical assistance to employers and employment service providers
4) conducting disability and health-related research and evaluation
