Brian Forsythe , Senior Work Incentives Counselor, Employment Network

Brian Forsythe is a Senior Work Incentives Counselor with Work Without Limits, a program of ForHealth Consulting at UMass Chan Medical School dedicated to advancing equal employment opportunities for people with disabilities. Certified by the U.S. Social Security Administration (SSA) as a Community Partner Work Incentives Coordinator (CPWIC), Brian supports individuals nationwide through the Work Without Limits Employment Network under SSA’s Ticket to Work program, helping them transition from public benefits to financial independence through employment.

Brian brings specialized expertise in assisting veterans to understand the interaction between SSA disability benefits and VA benefits. He also designs and delivers training for vocational rehabilitation counselors, employment specialists, and case managers on how earned income impacts eligibility for public benefits.

With a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of Massachusetts Lowell, Brian has over 30 years of experience in special education and vocational rehabilitation, including nearly 25 years as a full-time benefits and work incentives counselor.
