As a result, Social Security disability beneficiaries may experience food insecurity. Here’s a list of food assistance options available to individuals and families in Massachusetts.

Department of Transitional Assistance Locations
USDA Emergency Food Assistance Program (TEFAP): Provides free USDA food to low-income individuals via local agencies.
DoorDash: Launched an emergency food response delivering 1 million free meals through food banks and waiving fees for 300,000 SNAP recipient grocery orders.
